Painted Scales

This journey into the specialty pet hobby began with a three-footed painted turtle named Nubs. He was my first reptile and and he still hates my guts to this day, but that doesn't mean I love him any less. Eventually this love of the hobby grew as my own personal menagerie grew as well. With more mouths to feed, crickets and other feeders weren't doing the job I needed. Especially for my whites tree frog Vena, who refuses to eat any feeder that's dusted. This sparked my journey down the dubia breeding path to obtain my own nutritious feeders. When the population began to grow exponentially, that's when Painted Scales was born and began its journey. -- Creator and Owner: Daniel Francis
